"When I look into the nightsky
The forests - the mountains
I feel there is something greater
Greater than man could ever create..."
Pray not for the fate of man
But this earth in his hands
The hands that wield the deadly scythe
And torch all bridges behind
All that once so sacred to him
Now he is eager to reap
Even his fellow kind
Tucks 'neath white crosses
Cry not for his misery
He surely saw it coming
High on mighty ego trip
Blind to his one true enemy
Same blue sky above with same soil beneath
All that once was so pure now forever gone
These crooked hands
Gave birth to good and evil
And tore all the sacred bonds
Exchanged for a crowded tomb
"Nyt hän on kuolema, maailmojen tuhoaja
Syöpäläinen, joka järsii elämän puuta
Kunnes se ei enää verso..."

Sacrilege
05:14
|
|||
Passed from father to a son
The burden of days long gone
Cast a shadow upon our age
And bind us to those crooked patterns
The hearts of men rotten to the core
With will to power - saturated blood
A newborn absorb those impure ways
To face our world as it is a sacrilege
Seeking shelter to ease distress
From the old and worn out habits
Cast a darkness that defines our years
And snuff out torches of the pioneers
I won't bear your cross, father!
The cycle must end here
I won't feel the guilt nor the shame
The cycle must come to its end

Oblivion's Trail
06:03
|
|||
No higher truth etched in stone
It constantly changes its form
And evolves into something new
Yet never reach the absolute
O' it never reaches the absolute
In wilderness one may discover
A portal to comprehend
And rejoice these fleeting moments
Under divine eye of the sun
A crown placed on the head of a "messiah"
Countless ways to view the world
Countless paths to follow
To form your own (or) ideals of old
With sheltered trail into oblivion
No higher truth - no time to waste
Amidst the crowd of false prophets
Our worth shall not be weighed in gold
But by the steps that open up new passages

Aimless condescending humanity
A twisted grown tree
Of this fertile garden
Where the weeds now grow free
Blooming ferociously on its waning soil
As buds burst an all devouring turmoil
Benighted future is all I see
Where the weeds grow free
Becoming stranger and stranger
With each new heartbeat
Struggling to be free
In this prison we cannot see
Subconsciously bleeding
But still they keep on breeding, why?

Memorial Candles
06:07
|
|||
On the eve of his departure
Thousands stars shimmered
Like memorial candles
Beyond great distances flickered
Though his journey will soon
Receive its solitary end
He holds no fear nor sadness
For mystery he's about to unfold
Accompanied by raven cortege
The tree of life stands barren
Remembering those moments
When he still felt the warmth
Of childhood's summers
In a heart now turned to stone
Memorial candles
Shine from afar
Unveiled by dusk
The last sight he saw
Accompanied by raven cortege
The tree of life stands barren
Beneath its skeletal branches
He took his last breath
